“I LOVE my Refuge pants, so I decided to get the Refuge jacket to go with it. I like its weight, and its reasonable reflectivity (not as good as the pants); I love the design concept of the magnetic back flap (although it seems that the large-sized jacket's should be about 2 inches longer).
What I really dislike is the tacky over-branding: “Showers Pass" is emblazoned on this jacket in no fewer than FIVE places. (The one on the back flap is huge.) It's kind of ridiculous, trying too hard. I wish they just had a classier look with a single graphic logo (think Arc'teryx or Lulu Lemon) with “Showers Pass" on the inside label only.
Overall it is a good product whose design decisions fall a bit short.”
“I bought it to use in the winter for cycling below zero and during the melt. Every feature seems absolutely perfect. Since I bought it in September, I haven't really used it for the intended purpose yet. However, the repetitive reminder emails i receive from showers pass to rate my purchase are extremely annoying so I'm removing two stars.”

Fantastic .! I went with the size xxl as I'm around 220lbs and stand 5 foot 10 and am more on the larger size in general .

The extendable “showers pass rear flap “ is the bees knees , or should a say the bees rear ..!! Worked perfect , absolutely perfect !

“I got this jacket in exchange for one that wasn't working well for me, the waterproofness of my other jacket was not working as it supposed to (even after treatment and advises from the support team) so they sent me this one and I could not be more happy and satisfied! So far it's been working great against Vancouver's rainy weather, amazing materials and great features! I got the red one and looks so cool!”
“I wanted a quality, lightweight, windproof jacket and after reading many positive reviews, purchased the Refuge. My inquiry regarding availability of a preferred colour went unanswered, so, given a discount coupon on Facebook, I purchased my second choice. Perhaps the brighter colour will be an additional safety factor, since I walk extensively. The flap will not be of as much use to me as it would be to a cyclist.
The jacket appears to be of the quality I expected and has the features I wanted. It is pricey but is in the same range as its competitors. So far, it has met my expectations with regard to combatting wind and rain.
