I finally made the purchase. I have looked at others but I finally made the purchase. Great jacket overall. Nice color and great styling.

Originally ordered the wrong size but managed to get it exchanged in time for Christmas. Just returned from a a week riding and hiking through and over the red rocks of the Coconino National Forrest where conditions varied between 20° and 50° with mostly sunshine but finished off with a nice blast of arctic air. The resulting snow storm turned the desert white out on the trail after a foot of snow fell in under 2-hours around Courthouse Butte! Despite the light weight of the Refuge jacket, with good layering, I was never cold and always dry. Only concern was the zipper was a tad hard to get zipped up/down out of the box but has eased up with repeated use.

This light shell is perfect for a rainy ride. Nicely visible (according to my wife), very comfortable walking or riding and has a handy pockets.

Perfectly designed for bicycling; waterproof & well vented to reduce internal perspiration. Worth the $.

I've seen Showers Pass advertised in cycling magazines for years and finally decided to try their products when my old rain shell gave up the ghost. My new Refuge jacket is terrific and I only regret not having purchased one sooner! I've worn it around town and plan on using it as a ski shell. With the drop down tail I'm sure it will work out great on the bike, too. I'm very pleased.
