“Liked the idea of these pants, but the mediums were too tight on me (32 waist, normal cyclist legs) and would restrict pedaling. Sizing up would be way too long in the inseam. Bummed because I don't like wearing full rain pants and these looked like a solid alternative. Unless you have a very thin build, make sure to try these on before buying.”
“Great for biking, they keep the wind off of me, while keeping me warm. Was a little skeptical when I ordered but I'm a big fan of these pants. I'm 6'1‚/ 190lbs and ordered XL as the reviews said they run a little small, I'm glad I did as they fit great”
“Very happy with these pants. Finally had the chance to test them out on a rainy commute earlier this week -- and they kept me comfortable and dry. They aren't fully waterproof, but they kept me dry for a short ride in moderate rain. Also, I usually wear 32inch pants, but I saw other reviews recommending sizing up if you were unsure. I went with size L, which was the right choice for me.”
“Bought my first Skyline pant in 2012 for $100. I have been using them almost daily to commute back and forth to work during Spring, Fall and Winter. Last winter the pants showed some signs of wear on the seat parts. At the beginning of the Spring the taped seams started to show cracks. Time to invest into a new pair although the price has doubled in the last years. I hope the new ones will last twice as long as the previous pair.”
“So comfortable, warm but not too warm on a hard ride, waterproof enough for all but torrential downpours.
Wasn't sure about the fit when buying online but turned out really good. Been bike commuting for over 20 years now and these are best ever pants”
“Bought in 2012 and still going strong every Spring,Fall and Winter. Cycling, snowshoe, cross-country ski. These pants can do it all. Waterproof where they need to be waterproof and stretch where there needs to be stretch. When it gets to cold I put a merino base-layer under need and you are very comfortable.”
