“I needed to replace a 20-year-old rain suit which had lost its effectiveness (if it ever had it). I am also a bicyclist and runner and looked at local shops (outdoors, bicycle, and running) as well as on line for a brightly colored rain suit. Locally, I was told that bright colors were not 'vogue', that to be seen I needed to use flashing lights, etc. I respectfully disagree. This is the rare brightly colored rain jacket, suitable for adverse conditions, that I could find. The pants are dark, but at least have abundant reflective material, strategically located. The overall design is thoughtful and consistent with athletic use. I have not yet had an opportunity to test the suit outdoors. Showers Pass customer service was excellent. The first iteration I ordered was too large. It was easy to return and I received the replacement sizing within a week. The fit is overall comfortable. One comment regarding the pants is that they seem excessively long, especially for a medium size (note, the sizing chart at their website reflected this, so it should not be a surprise). I really don't need them to protect the bottoms of my feet. My concern is that the cuffs will wear excessively if they do drag the ground or are underfoot. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the Refuge jacket and pants as well as Showers Pass.”

“Pants are great, lightweight, durable, waterproof and breathable. However, the extra material on the seat of the pants has started to tear and flake off. This has happened on two pairs (the first of which I returned), so I assume it's a design flaw - or something weird in the way that I ride. Might see if I can glue the loose material back down.”
“They were okay, the reineforced crotch/seating area was the best feature. The cuff was still too wide...the Velcro straps did nothing to tighten it up on the right leg....had to use a reflector pant leg strap to keep it out of the chain ring”
