“I have commuted all year long in Quebec City since 2008, including during Winter in the salt and the pants lasted me 2 years, which is pretty good considering the harsh conditions they were used in. I am buying a second pair to replace the old one and that says a lot on my satisfaction level.
I am 5'-7'' / 165# and the medium is a perfect fit for me.”
“The transit pant keeps the cold a wet out. It has extended my cycle comute well into the winter. I also use these pants for ski and snowboarding. I plan on future purchases, thankyou!”
“My days of five hour road rides in the rain are mostly over, but I still commute by bike whatever the weather, and occasionally need good protection for longer rides, so I was happy to try these.
First impressions when putting them on were that the seat was not cut deep enough for me (not uncommon with my build!) and that the legs were quite long. On the bike this was not much of a problem. Depending on what I have been wearing underneath, the fabric at the knees feels a bit tight while pedalling, and I can feel, and hear the material shifting around my hips as well, which is a little disconcerting.
Rain protection is very good - I feel a little damp after riding in them, but I suspect that is internally generated rather than leakage. The zips and velcro at the bottom of the legs work very well for getting in and out easily and keeping the fabric away from chains.
For the money spent, these are a good deal.”
“Great pants, but be aware. Pants work great. Already found myself in heavy rain, and they work great. Also, they are correct: the size runs tight. Order bigger than usual. However, also be aware that when it says suspenders, they mean only Showers Pass suspenders. You'll have to buy those too. Still, work and feel great.”
