Club Waterproof Shoe Covers Black / X-Small Reviews

4.3 Rating 36 Reviews
Bought covers one year ago. Pretty happy with them but after only one year already there are holes in the covering. Also...the design doesn't hold it shape so that the sole shifts pulling the "uppoer" down under the sole of the foot. Water proof, sure, but not perfect design. Expected more for the price.

These shoe covers appear to be high quality but have some issues. Issue #1 It is not clear in the product description or photo that these are not meant for people who clip in. Fortunately, I have not switched to a clip-less system yet. Issue#2 I purchased a small and with a 9.5 shoe size these are still too big. The fabric in the heel is to much for the slim profile these shoe covers have. I have to use a rubber-band to keep the heel from slipping under which i shouldn't need to do. The "tightening strap" doesn't really help. Issue#3 Durable, but not as durable as expected. After five rainy commute days I already have punctured the 1st layer of this covers "sole". What I like Slim profile, well priced if they hold up, reinforced bottom and reflection embedded in the fabric. What I don't Like Large sizing and not universal shoe use if I want to switch to a clip-less system.

I use them with flat pedals, didn't have to cut a whole for a cleat, so they really seal out water and keep my feet dry.

These fit my new danners shoes perfectly. The size chart was absolutely correct as well. Construction of the materials was perfect too.

I have been a commuter year-round cyclist for the last five years in Kansas City, MO. and never owned "real" cycling clothes for wet/cold weather until this year due to finances. Was making this purchase a splurge, yes. Was this the most amount of money I've spent on myself in five years, yes. Was this the best purchase I've made in five years, without a doubt. I'm known for being the girl that rides in three layers and puffy coveralls in the winter,e but getting dressed to look like Randy from The Christmas Story no longer has to be my M.O.. When I see a puddle, I just smash right through it knowing my whole body will be dry. I no longer sit with my morning coffee while looking out at the rain, eyes filled with tears, anticipating my pants sticking to my legs the rest of the day. I just comfortably slip on all of this incredibly lightweight Showers Pass gear knowing it's got my back(side). For those that can afford it, Showers Pass will be the only gear I recommend to people that ask me how I cycle in “bad" weather. I may have purchased everything in the color black, but I feel brighter than neon yellow when I wear Showers Pass.

I wear a size 7 women's shoe. I ordered the size X-small. I cut the sole to accommodate my cleat. The cleat engages into the pedal just fine, but if I walk around a little, the cleat gets buried and I need to rearrange the sole of the shoe cover so that the cleat is exposed again. One solution to this problem would be to fabricate the shoe cover sole from a stretchy material.

I recently purchased the club shoe covers. Here in Pennsylvania it has been too cold and windy, so I have not used them yet. I ordered the XL size. When they arrived in 2 days, I found they were too big so I ordered L. The L fit. I returned the XL and received a refund with no hassle.
