“Since these have been out of stock directly from this site, I purchased a pair from somewhere else. I was extremely impressed with the previous design from a few years ago. They were warm without being bulky, provided an incredible amount of dexterity for pushing my wheelchair through rain or snow, and they were totally waterproof until I started wearing holes through the thumbs from friction. (This took almost two years to happen).
The new design is poorly fitted, creating bunched up spots in the fingers and palms, reducing dexterity. They are also NOT WATERPROOF. I found this out after wearing them ONCE in the rain, and the water soaked straight through the thumb material n minutes.
I am extremely disappointed in these, as the previous version was nearly perfect as a three-season glove for wheelchair users. Will not buy again unless the old design is brought back.”
“I have used these gloves on three separate occasions during rain and each time they have fully wetted out. I purchased them for cycling and have reverted to gortex shells over fleece gloves. They also fit small and are tighter then expected.”
“I've worn these for two winters. I confirm that they are waterproof in heavy rain during my 30 minute commute. They are also breathable and I don't get sweaty hands. Best suited for shoulder season and temperatures above 5oC. I mostly bought them for their durability as I am tough on gloves. These have lasted very well with hardly any wear on the leather and fingers. They are a good quality glove that does whet the manufacturer promises. I think they are worth the money.”
