Cross Point Waterproof Socks: Classic FX Black/Chili / Small/Medium Reviews

4.4 Rating 13 Reviews
Hmmm, never had or tried these before, but hubby and I are set up to start bike packing this spring. Many people say water proof socks are a must have. So, we're gonna give them a try when needed BUT, they are very thick and weird feeling and we got the right size but are very tight and hard to get on and off….let's see once we try them in the wet while riding …. They'll be great with our hard toe paddle board sandals as that's our every day shoe for cycling Road, gravel, trails and now tackling bike packing :u1F1E8::u1F1E6::u1F1E8::u1F1E6:

These socks are awesome! They definitely keep your feet dry in rain and snow. They are comfortable as regular socks. Riding down Seymour mountain in 6” of snow was a blast. My non waterproof biking shoes felt like wearing hiking boots keeping feet warm and dry even when crossing over creeks.

Socks seem a bit thick but caused no issues on my 20 km inaugural trail run. Waterproofing seems ok. Will see how they hold up in wash.

I got a pair of these from my local bike shop earlier this year. It was perfect timing as I had just been out on a ride and my former socks had actually sucked all the rain water down inside my waterproof shoes - I literally poured the water out when I reached my destination. I had just been thinking about how perfect waterproof socks would be when I saw these shared on my local bike shop's FB page. I ordered some immediately and they work amazingly well to keep my feet nice and dry while also feeling like a normal sock. If you're feet get cold even when they're dry (like mine do) I recommend getting the wool lined one - which I got as my second pair.
