These work like a charm in the rainy Vancouver riding weather. I wouldn't use anything else, since having found these gloves.

These are not as warm as 'regular' winter gloves - but they are water-proof, very comfortable and provide great dexterity. Light enough to stay in my regular kit, fit well in the pockets of my 'refuge' jacket and an instant favorite.

These gloves are perfect in the cool weather for ridding when it's rainy and when it's not. I use them when I'm hiking too. They have enough padding for the handlebars and the when I'm using my polls hiking. An excellent choice when you're outdoors in the north west, rain or shine.

I was admittedly skeptical when I ordered these gloves ... knit and yet waterproof, hmmm. Well, I got a chance to put them to the test, and ... they are. Upside: comfortable, waterproof, textured palms and fingers for grip. Downside: No extra padding in the palm area, so after about 3 hours on my road bike, my hands were feeling fatigued. Additionally, although waterproof, not windproof ... and my hands did eventually get cold as the knit does hold water. I'm guessing it may have had a slight "desert water bag cooler" effect as the wind evaporated some of the water from the wet knitting? Also my palms felt damp, which may have been from compression against the wet handlebars, or maybe my hands began to sweat, not sure? Bottom line: I'm happy with the purchase, and will wear them anytime I'm looking at rainy/showery weather. I will carry back up gloves for in case the ride is long, or particularly cold and windy, and I just want to give my hands a change.

Rubberized gloves really keep your hands dry from sweat, it evaporates! Other gloves get wet and cold mainly from sweat. Then the cold sets in. Not with these gloves.

These gloves do a remarkable job of keeping my hands dry. They are not as warm as I expected, though. I need overgloves to keep the wind out
