“I enjoy the new socks that are a little bigger and not too tight on my feet. I work in a restaurant and deal with water around my feet. Now coming home and taking my socks off and having dry feet is great. When winter comes and have to go out after work, nice for my feet not to freeze by the time I get to my car.”

It rained from 7am to 8:30 pm the day of the race. It was the worst weather in 30 years.
My shoes were wet before I even got on the bus to be bused to the start 26 miles away from the finish line.
I ran in the pouring cold rain for 5 hours! My shoes were soaked the entire way but my feet remained dry and my feet were the ONLY thing on me that were dry.
I could not imagine how miserable I would of been with cold wet feet on that 5 hour marathon.
