Women's Track Pants Black / X-Small Reviews

4.3 Rating 6 Reviews
Similar to the Transit Rain Pants I bought, the sizing chart suggests size Small, but I think an XS would have been more of a better fit. Unfortunately, I waited and waited for both to have XS's available--and then I just needed them to keep commuting to work with the season change. These are very soft and cozy. I've worn them biking during cold mornings and layered under the Transit Rain Pants when it's cold and raining. They pair nicely together. I've also worn them while running when it's cold (they actually got too warm!) I love, love, love that ShowersPass uses a lot of reflective details. The only things that could make these slightly better: 1) more elastic in the waistband (I worry if the tie comes undone, they will just fall off), 2) reinforced material over the knees, as when I ride and it's cold; the material is breathable (which is good), but also cold over the knees. I may end up buying a smaller size if it ever becomes available. Then I can have a pair for lounging and a pair for getting sweaty.

I love Showers Pass and their products! I've been looking for a pair of cold weather cycling pants; something that would be snug enough to not get in the way, but stretchy and just loose enough to not be binding. These are perfect! When I read the reviews, the biggest complaint was that they were too large in the waist and too small in the hips - in other words, perfect for my slight, athletic build. And they are! (Sadly, I can't wear the SP rain pants because they are too shapely.) I am a small person (5'4", 115 lbs.), and generally wear an XS in most clothes. However, following the SP size chart, I ordered the small. It is absolutely perfect. I will wear these pants until they wear out. After years of looking for the perfect late fall/winter riding pant, I am completely satified!

These slim fitting, super comfortable track pants are best for cycling during spring, fall and even winter (-5C/23F). They're also great for hiking, walking and just to laze around the house. The articulated knees mean my leg can freely move. Love the fleece lining, deep pockets, zippered ankles and scuff guards. Like everything else I've purchased from Shower Pass they are made with thoughts in the design and made to last.

These are my new favorite pants for running and cycling on cold days! So comfy, so warm! I'm 5'11" and 130lbs and I chose a women's size medium. I have plenty of room to wear a pair of running tights or bike pants comfortably underneath, but without a base layer, these track pants are not baggy. The articulated knee is spot on, but I wish they were just a tad longer from the knee to the ankle. I might try a men's small next time to get the extra inch in the inseam. However, even without that extra inch, these pants are fantastic and I love them! One of my best purchases this year.

I was looking for inexpensive rain pants for cycling and these came up as an option; another reviewer mentioned they did help in the rain. As cool weather track pants these are nice, but they are not cycling specific, not suitable for warm weather, and would only be good for a light drizzle. If you are looking for rain pants for cycling look at Showers Pass other options.
