Men's Gravel 10" Shorts Buckthorn Brown / 28 Reviews

Easy to order, fast delivery. Site advised shorts run a bit on the small side but I ordered my regular waist size (32) and they fit perfect. Like the internal cinch bands. Nice deep front pockets, holds my phone and I don't worry about it falling out.

I ordered my regular size 32. They fit like they were tailored for me.They are the perfect length above the knee and fit perfectly over padded riding shorts.

I ordered shorts that turned out to be too small. I returned with the included send back label included in the box (5 stars for that). The downside is I got no acknowledgment that my return was received (usps tracking said the order had been delivered) and that it was being processed. I emailed customer support and got an automated response saying they got my email and I could call at certain times for more info. I called and found out the order had been received and I would get a confirmation the order was being processed. I have not. Since I placed my order for the shorts I have been getting a lot of marketing emails telling me of the great deals and even one to review my original order. If I knew my return was being processed and not lost somewhere I would have been excited to take advantage of the 2 to 3 daily emails of stellar deals. I am looking forward to getting the shorts I have exchanged so I can provide a review of the product whenever that happens but for now I am just waiting to know the company heard me.

I was excited to get these, but they have some minor issues. First of all, the shorts have two very tight snaps, one on top of the other. Not sure why they need two snaps -- or why the snaps themselves need to be SO TIGHT. It's inconveniently difficult. Every time I un-snap them, it seems like the fabric (which is very thin and light) is going to rip right out from the pressure necessary to pull the two halves of the snap apart from one another - and there's two of them! Recipe for failure. Maybe what I'll do is just use one of the snaps, that way when (if?) rips the fabric, I can use the second one as a backup, (at least until it rips too?). The second issue is that the designers put pockets at the bottom of the shorts, near the cuff. This means that, unless you have thick legs (I don't) so that the shorts fit your legs tightly, everything you put in them jumps around as your leg moves through every pedal stroke. As a bike commuter, I rely on the pockets of my bike shorts to carry my wallet, key, phone, glasses, handkerchief, and earbuds case. In the normal pockets of a normal pair of shorts, (costing much less) this stuff stays put, as expected. In these, it jumps around. I guess the solution is to just not use the pockets. Yeah, that's it! Nine times out of ten, shopping online results in me owning things I never would have chosen if I had tried them out irl.

I have a few rides in with these shorts so far, Black in size 34. I typically wear 32/33s, but in these shorts the 34 fit great with the waist cinch system tightened a little bit. I'm 5'8" 190lbs athletic build, most non-mtb cycling shorts are skin tight on me, but these fit perfect! OK now to the shorts, they have a nice fitted cut, perfect length in my opinion, material looks good, stays relatively clean, breathes reasonably well, side leg pockets fit phones/wallets just fine and you don't feel them at all while riding, normal pockets work well off the bike. Chamois fit fine under them and are about the same length of the shorts depending on the brand. I love these shorts so far, and will be wearing them for gravel rides, MTB when my longer shorts are in the wash, city rides and touring where looking normal off the bike is really nice. They seem high quality and I expect they will last a long time, and would recommend them for a lot of riders.

I really like that these shorts are understated and functional. The thought was put into getting the details right instead of adding a huge logo or useless stuff- the fabric is durable yet comfortable, same with the waist closure. The pocket layout is spot on. The shorter length is appreciated instead of drowning in long mtb shorts

These mtb shorts are great, material and construction is good. If you like pockets but not too many, these fit the bill. They also work for me as everyday shorts. I would buy them again. If you need to return and item to Showers Pass they make that process easy as well.
