“These lids fit very well & straws work well in them also. But… No matter which size tumbler you use, you can really only fill about 3/4 full if you want to use a lid. Otherwise the liquid will squirt out of drink hole or the straw/ straw hole when you push the lid on. The do fit tightly & are easy to wash & I believe the lid would help to keep leaks to a minimum if the glass tips over for some reason. Also very easy to wash.”
“I use this all the time on ceramic mugs of various sizes and metal to go hot beverage tumblers of various sizes. I have used this when the lid was lost or broken on reusable beverage tumblers, when I didn't want to drink a hot beverage through a plastic lid, or for regular handled mugs I had poured my coffee into but had to rush out the door with before I finished it. Also works well on collapsible silicone cups from REI which is my new favorite combination for travel given the light weight, very small size when empty/collapsed, and spout closing tab to prevent leakage of any residual liquid into my bag. Bought several of these for family and friends to keep in their cars to avoid plastic to go lids!”
“I bought these in white and black for some steel cups that had broken plastic lids. The plastic had broken because I put hot liquids in the steel mugs and the heat was too much for the rigid plastic that came with the steel cups. The Silipint lids fit perfectly and stand up to hot black coffee and tea. The spout allows you to drink coffee/tea in the car without risk of spillage. These lids make it possible to use steel mugs that otherwise would have been useless.”
