“As a purest avoiding dyes and pigments as much as possible, and therefore prefering the frosted white lids, I was impressed with the ability of the same lid to seal both, my pint-sized silipint and the newer bomber, while still retaining an impressible degree of nesting ability for the silipint inside the sili'bomber. When camping and other outdoor sporting applications put a premium on compact and lightweight gear, such good seals also help provide protection for other critical and more fragile gear. For example, I'm a chemist/biochemist/endocrinologist/oncologist/biologist/nutritionist/toxicologist type that makes it hard for me to break the Pyrex glass graduated measuring beaker addiction, say for getting the right amount of ethanol into my back-packing alcohol stoves, so a double layer of silipint and silibomber silicone goes a long way in protecting my Pyrex glass, graduated measuring beakers.”
