“I wanted to get couple black lids to match any of the colors I have. I was impressed with how well the seal shut. At first I wasn't sure how to use the seal but quickly figured it out. I use this lid for both sizes of cups. They work much better than your standard plastic travel lid. They create a bit of suction so when you take a drink of something hot it doesn't come pouring out so fast to burn you. Also the thickness of the lid helps keep you from burning your lips.”

“I like the way these lids fit and help reduce spilling. I find it difficult to drink through the slot though. And would prefer it if it were spill proof. I need to use a straw to drink, but to order them (they're not expensive) the shipping cost is many times more than the cost of the straws. I didn't realize I'd need the straws when I ordered.”
