“There’s are amazing for morning coffee! A large enough cup for coffee, doesn’t burn your hands and is actually surprisingly rigid for silicone! I was so impressed when I took it out of the package!”
“I'm sorry to say this, but I have to say it: the quality of the silicone on this cup is outstanding, as always, and so is the color of the white, but the grey marbling effect just doesn't work -- it seems too difficult to implement properly. As a result, the cup does achieve the occasional look of marbling here and there, but for the most part it just doesn't look like an integral part of the cup; it looks almost painted on rather hastily and amateurishly and, in one place, it looks like someone had grey paint on their finger or something else and just wiped it off on the cup, leaving what looks like a vertical streaked thumbprint.
I have never had cause to complain about any of the Silipint cups -- I've bought about eight or nine of them in all various sizes and styles -- but this one, the "Mountain Marble" needs work. It could almost also use perhaps just the tiniest bit of tan color in the mix, but not as much as the grey.
If they can just perfect the streaking process this will be a truly beautiful cup, but so far I can't give them credit for having actually achieved it yet and so I have to give this cup an honest review, though it's purely on aesthetic grounds and not in any way on structural quality grounds.”
