“The product was advertised as ready to be installed if no coatings were to be applied. On delivery, the surface of the handrail needed considerable sanding to remove ridgelines along its length and some glueing where it was splintering. This rail had to be sanded and varnish coated. Despatch was delayed due to their stock problems. Delivery (as normal nowadays) - Bad. Sub-contracted by the delivery company. Broken packaging, no delivery notice, no appoligy - A grim White Van Man special.”
