“The domes are nicely shaped. However, the part of the dome that is pushed onto the handrail was on some of the caps were rough which made them uncomfortable to hold”

“Nice wood. End caps and brackets are of good quality. Would have liked it if the wood was marked to show the centre of where the fixing for the end cap was to go because I found it quite difficult to measure (despite doing a number of lines to mark it and still it wasn’t exact). I realise that some people may want to cut some wood off, but even if this were the case, they could use a pre-drilled while as a template. Oh well, it looks ok, but could have liked better.”

“I can't recommend this company highly enough! I emailed on a Friday afternoon, without realising they were closed. I received a reply the same afternoon. I needed a hand rail urgently as I was going in for surgery, I asked how long it would take to arrive and was advised if I ordered over the weekend online, it would be dispatched on Monday and arrive on Tuesday. I did exactly that and sure enough it arrived Tuesday! It is by far a better quality than B&Q (who take 10 days to deliver, even though they have in stock in store). It was fitted by a friend on the Thursday who said the fittings were a superior standard. I went in to hospital on the Saturday for a hip replacement and since returning home it has been a godsend! I couldn't have managed without it. It looks superb too. I would highly recommend this handrail and especially this company, I am so grateful and impressed.”

“The 3.5m oak bannister was nice. What was not nice was the diameter of the bannister being 44mm not 45mm as it should have been. The very nice precision engineered stainless steel end caps are 45mm. The steel end cap has no chamfer as it is designed to but seamlessly onto the oak bannister. The result is running your hand along the rail as you walk along the stairs you get your skin sliced off at the steel end cap, like a cheese grater. It does not look so good without the end caps. I only discovered this having stained and fitted the bannister. I have had to remove the end caps for health and safety reasons.”
