“I ordered a 2m oak handrail with stainless steel ends and wall supports. Everything arrived intact and in good order. I followed the mounting advice (pilot holes for screws, procedure sequence for actual mounting, etc.) which was helpful. Correct placement on the wall to parallel a partially restricted rail on the opposite side of the stairway was tricky in this particular case. Also, I used more substantial wall plugs to mount the steel supports using the long screws provided. However, with patience the end effect was excellent. The wood rail was straight, and essentially perfect but for a small flaw caused by a knot hole at one end - easily corrected by a competent DIY-er. Overall, I'm very pleased with the rail, and am happy give this product a 5-star rating.”

“Delivered as promised, nice and straight with good end caps however disappointed with finish, very rough which is not good for a handrail, needed a lot of sanding to get an acceptable smooth finish.”

“Excellent quality only needs a light sand and wax and looks far more expensive than it was . Contact with sales easy to get it cut to my required length. Happy to recommend”

“The only slightly negative comment, is that it would be handy to have a template to find the exact centre of the handrail ends to ensure the absolute centering of the ends. Otherwise they are really, really good. And look lovely.”
