“Beautiful wood and lovely finish. I applied one coat of danish oil, nice contemporary look. Had to use different screws to fix rail to brackets as supplied ones were difficult to work. Not a big issue though. Very pleased with purchase and would definitely recommend. Office staff also very helpful with arranging delivery. Thank you.”

“I was disappointed with the screws supplied. The short screws for securing the wall brackets to the oak rail were not countersunk nor fully threaded. The screws for fixing the fittings to the wall were countersunk but not fully threaded. After purchasing appropriate screws, I have completed the project and am quite satisfied.”

“The stainless steel brackets are strong and good quality. The oak square handrail is beautifully made, straight with a smooth finish. We stained it to medium oak colour with a spirit dye and waxed it. The finish was perfect.”

“The handrail looks lovely (now it's up), but it took about 5 hours to get to that point. This is because the nails provided kept snapping (I threw 7 away due to snapping); they're not strong enough for the wood. Then 1 snapped INSIDE the handrail, which is a nightmare. The brackets provided to fit the handrail to the wall kept turning loose too, before we'd even been able to hang it. The fixtures are not suitable for the product, and made this very difficult. It looks good now but I wouldn't buy it again.”
