“Hand rails arrived well packaged - unfortunately no instructions were with them but had to email to receive them. There is a slight issue when attaching to the wall, if you move the rail on the bracket-it loosens. You have to remove the bracket to tighten up the Allen screw before re attaching to the wall - but once all in place works perfectly - just a bit awkward”

“Ordered dome ends but recieved flat ends. So no action required as happy with flat ends. Also the 4 x 2.4 m oak rail 3were great but 1 was different lighter colour and straight grain and finished texture was rough. Also no action required as sanded down myself. The screws for the brackets to wall were twice as long as the wall plugs supplied so used my own screws. Overall a good product more attention to detail required. A tad expensive. In any case the are installed and I am inclined to smile rather than cry. John”

Hi John, This review baffles us to be honest. The screws and plugs provided are fit for purpose. The plug goes to the back of the hole and the screw bites into it. There are limited lengths of plugs but these work and there are many videos available on YouTube if you get stuck regarding plugs and screws. The oak is all unfinished. We sand it down lightly ready for it to be resanded and finished by our customers as per the listing. You purchased numerous lengths of oak so there will be some variation. However once oiled they will all look fine and the same. SimpleHandrails.co.uk

“These caps come with the oak rail. They are easy to fit, and look very stylish. they would go with any wood colour if you chose to varnish.”
