“I have the Perpetual Soloist set on my cello and thought to try the Gold rosin that Pirastro recommends for these strings. My usual rosin is the Andrea Piacere which I really love. The Evah Pirazzi Gold rosin is equally responsive, but on these strings at least, it has a clearer sound and better resonance & projection. I have to be a little more careful with the Evah Gold when engaging the string, it's less forgiving than the Andrea, but in my opinion the sound is well worth the little extra effort. I think this rosin is a beautiful match to the Perpetual Soloist strings.”
