“a standard mute but i needed a new one to replace the old thinner mute. This one is a thicker version and works well. I like the simplicity of off and on in tricky situations and you never drop it or lose it. That's why i prefer this type. Oh and it never ruins the strings or bridge.”
“It is a mute that is perfect for orchestral playing. I agree with other reviewers that it might rattle. I've also found that it doesn't produce as much of a dampened sound as I had expected.
