“Lured by the description of a "warm, sweet, brilliant sound" (!), I ordered this because I've not been much pleased by the tonal quality of assorted E strings I've tried over the years. I'm delighted with the sound - it's very sweet - on my violin anyway - responsive, & a pleasure to play on/with. No whistling, either. For context, I'm an orchestral player so I don't want an E string that's too bright or strident. I love this string! It's No1 for me! :-)”
