“Well, I have not tried Dominant Pro Thomastik Infeld before. Looking for longer-lasting, more affordable strings for community orchestral playing. Have regrettably moved on (temporarily) from Eva Pirazzi Gold. The Dominants took at least 13 days to settle down and for the spongy feel to go for the concert two days ago. They are a different feel and sound to the Eva Pirazzi Gold. A few "scratchy" notes where I have to be mindful of. But so far am happy to give them a go and see how good they sound 6 months and a year down the track. One thing's for sure, I always get excited putting on new strings”
