“This is an extremely well constructed string, has great playability and response to the bow, however it has an extremely bold and resonant tone which is a touch too 'buzzy' for my liking. If a very powerful tone is what you are after then this a great string for precisely that, but with a Spirocore Tungsten G string I find the transition from the G to the D quite noticeable, so much so I feel it interrupts the sense of continuity along the strings. Perhaps the tone may improve and round out a bit once it's thoroughly played in.”
