“I have bought 3 sets of these cello strings over the past 3 years. One of the D strings snapped at neck end on initial install - got replaced with another D string, which also snapped after 6 months of use. This will be my 3rd D string. Generally the strings sound lovely but not sure why it is always and only the D string that is problematic and keeps snapping, always at the neck end”
