“This was an experiment after using Larsen Medium for years. The Soft has revolutionised my playing experience. Lost a tiny bit of volume, but more than worth the trade off for warmer sound and easier playing. I've always had issues with intonation in 4th position and a bit above due to excessive string height here. The soft string is much easier to push down and my inaccuracy problem has gone away. Much more rewarding to play than before, especially for someone who plays irregularly and whose left hand is no longer 'match fit'! This has saved me a LOT of money as my long-term solution was going to require a new fingerboard and possibly bridge.”
