“It is a great piece of hardware. The weight of the pedal is a gear indicator of how sturdy it is. The pedal have characteristics that are unique. However at this price point I would have preferred to find in the package different type of pedal face to fit the different usage of the pedal (accelerator, brake and clutch) and also I would have preferred to avoid the usage of a Ethernet switch to manage the communication among the three pedals as this is an additions piece of hardware and additional cable to manage in an already busy environment. The Tuner software at the moment it is pretty basic. I would have expected to have the possibility to set up different profile with different pedal role (for example one profile with only two pedal active one for accelerator and one for brake and another profile with the brake pedal that is now the clutch plus brake and accelerator). I would also expected to have the possibility to assign a keyboard command for a quick switch of the profile in game. Another function that I didn’t find is the automatic run of the app at windows start up and reduced at icon in the windows task bar like there other app (true drive) as every time I launch a game I have to remember to launch the tuner software first. The game compatible with the effects applicable to the pedals are quite limited at the moment but if you use a compatible game it is a game danger as it gives you a feel like a real pedal and possibility to customize the pedal feel and role is the real game changer. Potentially you can customize the pedals to copy the exact feel of each car on the planet without dealing with springs, screws, spacers, etc. A big investment for the future. At the moment due to the limited functionality of the tuner software and game support is quite limited. I’m curious to see how the tuner software and game support will evolve in the future”

“Love them the adjustability and effects on the brake are a gamechanger, these pedals with ABS and motion and VR is the closest you can get to real racing. The throttle for the moment only engine vibration can be activated has effect on Iracing, for ACC TC is also available.”

“There really are no words to describe how good these are. If you got the money to get them (and they are expensive) you should convince the wife and get them, you won’t regret it. Build quality is top notch, they feel and are super high-tech. They add to realism, immersion and most importantly, improve lap times. I got 2 pedals, the brake for the ABS is a no brainer, but I think having one for the gas pedal feels super nice as well, just being able to feel the engine vibrations and traction control is worth it. The software to control them is amazing, switching between formula and gt cars on the fly, its like magic. There is one thing I would think they should have included but didn’t (at least at the time of writing this review) is the base plate. When I preordered the pedals they didn’t come with the plate, but in my opinion they really should have especially when ordering multiple. Even if they had to rise the price with it. So you most likely have to get that too.”

“I've been lucky enough to purchase a 2 pedal set upon the launch of the Simucube Active pedals. The wait was long, but these pedals are game changing. When you open the (beautiful) packaging you find a work of mechanical art. These pedals breathe quality, this is also reflected in the 5 year warranty simucube offers. After installing them on my rig the initial calibration was done, then you can load your profile and change the feel of the pedals by simply dragging a slider. Upon loading ACC the pedals where recognized instantly, and my first lap was mind blowing. The way these pedals feel is hard to describe, but all the pedals I owned to date (with various high end models like HE Ultimate +, Simtrecs and Simtags) are no match. The feedback, the way you can modulate these pedals and the feedback you get, mind blowing. And i have the feeling that there is much more to come in oncoming software and firmware updates. Furthermore the team is genuinely interested in feedback and support is amazing! Thank you Team Simucube”
