“I have no idea what the capabilities of my Sionics camera are because I didn’t receive any instruction manual. I have had a big problem getting to menus. The camera seems to work well if the is some light but in total darkness it is useless.”

“I was skeptical that a $400 night vision device would be a quality device but I was shocked once I received and used my Aurora Sport. The picture at twilight or night time is pretty crisp and clear, not as clear as a GEN III or IV, but for $400 you're not going to beat this...and it is COLOR, not green/black. The Aurora Sport has other advantages over NVGs I have used. You can take photos with it, video and/or stream tp the SiOnxy app on your phone or tablet. If you want a super crisp picture, then drop thousands more dollars and get some PVS-7Bs or PVS-14s. If not and you are not some wanna be operator who just needs to see stuff in the dark, then the Aurora Sport is probably more your thing.”
