I've owned an Aurora Pro a couple years now. The only thing I'd like to see changed is that you can plug your USB cable in to access the card instead of having to take the microSD card out to view it's contents. It would be nice too if the data you see on screen imprinted in the view you get on the file for review.

Hi Mike! Thank you for using our products! We are so pleased you are happy with your Aurora Pro! Although we do not have the ability to have the data you see on the screen imprinted on the photos, just recently, we published an article on our SIONYX Support page about the USB cable that relates to your specific question about images transfer! You can transfer images and videos to your PC from the Mirco SD Card in the Aurora if you use the data transfer/Ferrite choke cable! Aurora cameras and kits include USB battery charging cables (the ones without chokes) - and USB data transfer cables that can be identified by the Ferrite choke around the cable. Use this data transfer cable to connect your Aurora to your computer. Please check out our SIONYX Support webpage for pictures of that cable by going to sionyx.com/support and looking at the Aurora articles for 'Transferring Images and Videos'. With the Aurora off, Connect Aurora to your computer using the Ferrite choke data USB cable. Turn your Aurora on, in order for your laptop to recognize the new device. Open the File Manager and under the 'This PC' icon, you will see an icon to view Aurora as a storage device, enabling you to move photos and videos from the Micro SD card in the Aurora to your PC. I have looked at NV for a long time and have been tempted by the Aurora series for some time. Finally made the jump. I have used military grade NV and who wouldn’t love that? But the cost is very high especially for a more casual user. Enter Aurora Pro. It is NOT military grade NV, but it is quite good for what I need. The color makes discrimination good. It does a creditable job if there is light, less so in absence of light. If you add the illuminator, it vastly improves. It is great for what I need: night security and recreational use. Not yet tested on my firearms. Recommended!

Love the aurora pro. Not quite 14 material but again this was not intended to be nor advertised as. I wish I had the aurora sport and the regular aurora so I can really tell the improvement of the three. From what I see on YouTube, these guys are incredible and build incredible cameras. Any thoughts on maybe merging a thermal capable with the night vision full color in the future? I know black silicone is a total different ball game but if anyone can do it it's sionyx. The Opsin doesn't disappoint either. Both are solid devices.

I love my Sionyx pro, have it mounted on a Keltec RDB-S 5.56 In front of a Sig sauer Romeo5 red dot. Works great, still able to use the factory sights. The red dot from the romeo5 is right on top of front post. Great for shooting night.

I played with my Sionyx when I first got it and was amazed at the clarity in low light situations. Well, I tried it on the lake tonight coming back from Nashville in a much-needed setting, and I was very disappointed in its performance. It kept freezing on me causing me to navigate the waters without a clear visual. I had to close it and reopen it a couple of times, and then after a long period of it being frozen, I just relied on my own eyesight, which was much more reliable. It's a great concept, but it seems to have a lot of bugs to work out.
