“I found the Sionyx PRO unit to preform very well for lighted areas by moonlight and ambient light sources and has the similar attributes as a GEN 2 as advertised. I bought it for star watching and for that it does extremely well as you can snap pictures or video of stars that you cannot see with the naked eye and it is a very compact/lightweight. With a new moon i.e.(no moon) it is difficult but not impossible to see in totally dark situations but I expected that. Overall for the cost the unit serves as a good NV and as a bonus the NV does work very well with AIMPOINT or EOTECH or other similar laser projection gunsights with the Sionyx picatinny rail system which is a very well made metal quick mount option. The case is sturdy and the unit charges appropriately. No complaints at this time.”
