“We live in a relatively sparsely developed suburban fringe with woods and corn fields peppering the area. For many years I have heard coyotes and wildlife clash occasionally and been glad our dog is not "small" but still worry about some of our walks. Also hunting season is upon us... Using the Aurora a few times now I love being able to scan the area, the amazing view of everything is spectacular! I am have settled on a 15fps view and greyscale for most evenings, and often zoom in 3 to 5 steps to verify any targets. I find the digital noise acceptable, and with the viewfinder on low and sometimes dropping ev .7 or more stops I can really get an amazingly clean view in most cases. Clearly SiOnyx has engineered an amazing product here. No question this exceeded my expectations, and like any technology, no doubt future developments will come... and the Pro is already an example of that, but I couldn't be happier with my decision!”
