We got an Aurora Black a little over a year ago and was very pleased with the performance especially at near dark late in the afternoon. We can see deer in the field behind our house at 200 yards and see them at 100+ yards with the IR security flood light all night.

I'm an artist/photographer with a background in optics. I love lowlight cameras/imaging. In this case I wanted: 1. Entry level digital nightvision sensor I could capture on for my work 2. Small/accessible/affordable 3. Absurdly colorful sensor noise because I like how it abstracts images 4. Something that's easy to use and yields strong results with UV/IR illuminators This does that. $400 w/ illuminator is a great value in my opinion. Sure it's lowres, so printing large pictures for galleries, etc might be tough but res boosting AI tools help. I would like to see more photocentric controls like aperture and ISO adjust so I don't have to force it into high ISO (I like that noise!) by clamping down on shutter speed. Granted this thing is largely for hunters/security and is like $300 so my expectations aren't high there, but I will do my best to evangelize this into photo community if you do your best to throw us a couple extra controls down the road.

I’m generally happy with the camera. It needs an auto focus feature. The app does not work and customer service is spotty to non existent. I do generally like the camera but because of the lack of support and difficulty with the app I would not recommend this camera.

Expected more from the reviews. Sight relief is a significant issue, as is focus and detail (in daylight, never mind in NV). Underwhelmed.

Exceeded my expectations - IR illuminator great to enhance moonless nights. Works fairly well with eotech holo. It hasn’t been field tested yet, but initial impressions are positive. Very pleased thus far.
