“Performance is nowhere near that of an analog Gen3 device. It’s not even close. What this does do an ok job of is taking photos and record video in darkish conditions near dawn/dusk, on bright moon nights, or in well-lit urban areas. It’s not great with these cases, but it does just enough to get by and check a few boxes. You can also travel with this as it’s not subject to ITAR like true night vision devices. So, manage expectations. It’s unlikely that you’ll be thrilled by purchasing this, but you just might be satisfied. A lower price would be even better. However if you’re looking for a true night vision device, this ain’t it.”

“I was fortunate to be able to pick up this camera when on sale. It was an excellent purchase. We use it at night on the water. My first mate (aka the Admiral) uses this camera and let’s me know if anything in the water is in my tracks. It is a game changer as we previously had stopped going out at night. Very well engineered product.”

“It's great, on a night with even a little bit of moonlight i can see perfectly out to probably 300yrds. I do wish however that it was easier to find accessories, i.e. a belt pouch. Also, 1 Feature that would make it just the best thing ever: A reticle or dot function (even if it doesn't work that well, why not turn it into a scope) 2”
