“It works very well for what it is. 1/4 moon or more you can see alot, get darker than that and now you need an illuminator. It is easy to use, easy to set up, but I have not been able to connect to wifi yet. I don't know if it is me or the unit. I set it on wifi and it just searches. Other than that I have no complaints about this camera.”

“I can honestly say this is a game changer! As a First Responder, we deal with missing and distressed persons, alot of times at night, as well as the criminal element and this is an absolutely critical tool. Being able to cut through the darkness and uncertainty to provide assistance and safety assurance is paramount and the Sionyx Aurora delivers on every front. Adding to this the price point and the accessibility for Agencies under budget constraints to procure, I believe this is a necessary piece of equipment and I back it 110%!!!!!!”

“Very nice design. Clean user interface. Delivers as night vision but closer to Gen 1+ rather than Gen 2 or 3. Overall, product is great. I wish the lens barrel was made out of metal or more heavy duty material like a pro camera lens. Overall 8 / 10”

“The monocular works very well as intended. During movement and water borne activities you can tell there is a little bit of drag and focus when moving and on moving objects. I was a bit disappointed that the product did not come with operating instructions and had to go to sionyx to get operating information. I think at least a quick reference manual should be included. All and all though I have been pleasantly surprised at how well the monocular has been holding up.”
