“I was sold on night wave after leaving a restaurant on a friends boat. This was the first time either of us had used the camera. We entered the ICW and could see an object ahead in the far distance that appeared to be a boat with no lights on at all. We were running auto pilot as the object got closer we could tell it was an abandon sailboat a drift no Lights .. I was sold .. it could have been a disaster I ordered my camera the next day.. install was easy, it’s a small price to pay for peace of mind knowing you can see what is in our path ahead at night ..”

“SIONYX gave me this free product to try. It allows us to leave earlier and come in later without risking safety. The Nightwave works is all types of light conditions and gives you a clear video right on your GPS. I would recommend this to anyone looking to fish later and longer while knowing you'll still be able to see what's in front of you the whole ride in or out.”

“When it works it’s good. If found it works about 30% of the time. The Wi-Fi connectivity is horrible . I’ve purchased 2 nightwave cameras , one for my yacht and one for the tender . Same problem with both cameras . I assume they will have to be hardwired or thrown in the trash .”

“I am a long time IR camera user. On my last boat i had a FLIR MU cryogenically cooled camera, purchased for slightly over $200,000. On my new boat I decided to take a chance on the Sionyx camera at approximately 1% of what I paid for the FLIR. Although I've only used it at the dock so far (there is restricted visabilty ahead of the boat) it is clear, extremely detailed and has the added advantage of being in color. So far, I've been pleasantly surprised. Clearly a game changer.”
