I am loving these gentle yoga videos! I have never done yoga before and am not much of an exerciser but since retiring, I find that I am more sedentary then I would like. These videos are perfect for me....I am feeling stronger and a bit more flexible plus I can do them in the privacy of my own home. I am a large women so I am a bit intimidated to exercise in public so these work for me. I love that Cat gives alternatives to the techniques she is demonstrating for those of us who need more support. They are so worth the money!

I have been doing one lesson per day and when I think about it, a pose for a minute or two during other activities . This gentle yoga series is wonderful. I am not proficient with everything, but Kat continues to encourage me to do what I can. My neck , shoulders, spine and silly as it sounds, my feet and jaw are feeling the difference. I am retired, but recently lost my friend and companion, not spouse, after eight years. This yoga series comes to me at a perfect time. Margaret, your pleasant Good Mornings are looked forward to each day.

The Gentle Yoga series is unlike any other Yoga DVDs I've tried in the past. Because they are so different, at first it doesn't seem as though they will be helpful or effective. But stick with it! By the end of the session you will be amazed at how much better you feel and what you've actually accomplished. All this and no "pretzel positions" required. Cat Kabira is an excellent instructor who carefully explains how to do each movement, what each movement and breathe is for and provides many options for all physical and skill levels. If you're sitting on the fence about this series- take the plunge! If you order the DVD set, you have immediate access online while you're waiting for the DVDs to arrive- making he Gentle Yoga series is an excellent value for the money. Thank you Margaret and Cat for this wonderful yoga series. Namaste.

I went through the series, hoping they would suit me better, but at this point I feel that they are just too slow. I believe they would be suited better to someone who maybe has never done Yoga before or is older and having a tough time getting around but for someone who is quite active I think they may be disappointed. I was looking for a nice smooth running Yoga session, but found this one very draggy...sorry :-(

I have practiced yoga for almost 50 years. As a long time fan of Lilias Folan and her yoga series from the 1960's and 1970's, I despaired of EVER finding another yoga teacher with her approach, gentle touch, teaching method and slow but steady growth into the actual practice of yoga. In this gentle yoga series and instructor Cat Kabira I have found exactly what I was looking for! Kabira is easy to follow and easy to learn from. She has the same approach as Folan - slow, steady and at your own pace. Like Folan, Kabira doesn't consider yoga a competition - with any one or even with your own bod. You decide what you can do with each position and she gently demonstrates how, when you're ready, you can move forward and do a bit more. I am very glad I saw this series on Facebook and even more glad that I took the chance and bought it. The other yoga videos I have tried over the years will be given to the library; this series will be given to my daughter when I die. Cat Kabira and Sixty & Me Gentle yoga should be on the shelf of every person who want to stop the joint aches and pains, get their balance back and generally, enjoy every one of their days.

This is a great series. I purchased the DVD set as I cannot count on reliable streaming of videos from my internet connection. I like how the lessons are broken down and each pose is thoroughly explained with adjustments you can make based upon your abilities. I'm going to order this from my 95 year old mother. Any age will benefit from this series.

These videos were very well done, helpful, and useful. I appreciated Cat's style and the modifications she suggested during the series. I will definitely use this videos to enhance my yoga practice. The way each video focuses on one thing (joints, balance, etc) was great. I am inspired to continue........
