The Over 60's yoga DVD and online sessions are possibly the best investment I have ever made, in myself. I can't do what I call 'pretzel yoga' and these sessions are anything but that. I love the options given for each movement that allows for age or injury and I can complete any session and feel good that I have achieved something positive for my body and my mind. I use the DVD's at home and the online sessions when I'm travelling. I can't thank you guys enough for what your program has given me :-) With gratitude, Peta

I have been doing the chair yoga the most. I have done the gentle yoga and really enjoyed it too. I have had a little problem when getting on the floor so did not enjoy those as much. I am hoping I will get more limber and able to get on the floor more easily as I use them. I like how she explains how to perform each movement and the benefits of them.

I have been practicing daily with these tapes for about 2 weeks now. I did not really know how out of shape I was until I started doing them! After two weeks I feel my body awakening from a long sleep. I can actually feel the blood tingling and waking up parts of my body that were feeling stagnant. It is a wonderful feeling to know that I am doing something for myself, for a change. It takes a small amount of time each morning when I get up and sets my mindset for the rest of the day. I feel more positive as I am finally doing something for myself and know that I am worth these precious moments every day. I am 69 and look younger than that - and now I am beginning to feel younger as well. So, thank you for these wonderful tapes. They are relaxing and challenging at the same time. I wish I had started sooner, but I am grateful to myself that I have finally made myself a priority.

Hi Margaret I did indeed receive the Gentle Yoga DVD's but I have not taken the time to try them yet. My husband got diagnosed with leukemia and we are planning a birthday party for my 90 yr old mother. Life got sidetracked a little bit !! Hopefully in the near future !! I'm sure that once I do start practicing the gentle yoga that I will absolutely love it . I love your website and emails for the inspiration that it give me . I'll be 63 in the fall so they are perfect for me ! Warm regards Colette

I am very new to yoga and was definitely not sure I would enjoy this. I am happy to say that these videos are very easy to follow and the feeling after I finish a session is positive. Thank you!

I wanted and needed a gentle and effective system to take care of my body, increase strength, maintain flexibility. I did not want a boring program but wanted a peaceful program. I decided to try yoga. I explored yoga classes in my new city, however getting face and appropriate clothes on and driving to site and distraction of others did not appeal to me, nor did the cost. I chose the online access, angled my computer a little differently on my desk, show up in my loose p.j.s without makeup and I'm ready, no excuses. I had tried a few yoga poses I had observed in the past, however with a history of 4 abdominal surgeries, 2 bouts of breast cancer involving 11 surgeries including 2 mastectomies, and a foot surgery it was too straining. I love this program. It is quiet and peaceful, led by a sweet peaceful, encouraging teacher. I really don't consider it very much "yoga" with "poses". As a former RN, I recognize it more as full ROM (range of motion) for each joint and muscle. I do feel I need to add some more vigorous walking to my self care routine along with this. I would recommend this to a friend. I would prefer each segment be only 15 minutes. I would purchase it again if my computer crashed! Thank you for providing this fun, gentle program for a young 68 year old.

I got my videos several weeks ago. I had fractured my sacrum in 2 places in July and been hesitant to exercise because the original injury was so painful. I have tried a series of Tai Chi videos at several well spaced intervals, but they are still far too aggressive for me at this point. I really like Cat's message that we don't have to compare ourselves to anyone else, but do as much as we can knowing that eventually we'll build toward more balance, stability, and flexibility. Her suggested modifications are very helpful as is her permission to stop and rest before going on when a pose is painful or feels like too much. I am determined to regain stamina and strength I lost and these videos seem a perfect way to begin.
