I am enjoying the DVD's - and the online access occasionally. I find it is good quality for the money.

I have been practising yoga on and off for over 40 years. I have taken part in classes, retreats and practised from online resources, dvds etc at home. I recently returned from living in India and my practice was a little haywire. Mostly from pain and exhaustion, i was finding excuses not to try certain positions even though I knew they would help. I needed to get back to it! I had just finished an online yoga retreat when one morning, trying one of the sessions from one of the teachers on that course, I found that I was in a lot of pain. I have old sporting injuries/surgery scars on my knees and my hips are seizing up fast! Even my low back was hurting and I have a strong back! Luckily I came across the gentle yoga series on just the right day. My mind was willing even though my body was objecting. I found the sessions refreshing and healing. I liked the relaxed presentation and reminder that yoga is non competitive. I loved the alternative ways to try out positions. Mostly i loved the way my body responded to the gentle coaxing. I could feel the connections that I had somehow lost over years of practice, just by slowing down and listening to what was happening. I have used the sessions every day, sometimes a combination and sometimes as a gentle warm up and I am now able to enjoy other yoga sessions again. I have come across slicker videos but I found the price affordable. In any case, how can you put a price on feeling great? I will continue to use the dvds as part of my daily practice, especially when I need to reconnect and acknowledge my limitations. Thank you

I have not gone thru the whole series yet. But have done 5 or 6 sessions . It is very gentle. Too early to see any results yet. Except right after a session I do feel good. Am looking forward to doing it more continuously . My real problem pain area is my low back and hips. I know if I do it consistently the benefits will be greater. Thank you.

If you are looking for a gentle way to encourage your body to become more flexible, this is a great option! It's easy to discipline yourself to do the sessions every day, because they are simple to follow and afterward, I feel so much better!

I've reviewed part of the dvd and I really like it. I'm going to introduce it to the exercise group at my church who are all 65 & older. I think it will be great for all of us.

I love this! The explanations and instructions are very helpful and well timed, and the overall workout is excellent. My husband, a farmer, has made it part of his daily routine as well. I'm amazed at how the exercises open up my chest and allow me to breathe better and stand taller! Well worth the money spent. The quality of the CDs is outstanding. Highly recommended!

Excellent! I am learning as I go through each session. The instructor moves along at a pace that I can keep up with, being a 60 plus newbie to this. She is also really good at explaining the how-to, why, what for of each routine. Also good suggestions for adaptive approaches depending on ability and common household items that can be used for the workouts. It is absolutely wonderful to be able to workout in my own home and go at my own pace! Also, I can "adjust" the volume to meet my needs, if you know what I mean.
