I have been learning and practicing yoga for ten years at my local YMCA. I have had 4 or five teachers and they all added something different that has been wonderful. Yoga touches your whole life. You are better at regular household chores. Gardening. Standing and waiting. Posture is better because yoga taught me how to hold myself up in a healthy way by strengthening my core and being mindful and loving to my body. This yoga series has helped me break some invisible block I had to a home practice. It is simple peaceful and slow. I think I could benefit from a more challenging practice but right now enjoying this immensely. Highly recommend.

I have been using for about 3 weeks and enjoy it as a beginning to yoga. I now, sadly, feel it's time to move on to a more challenging yoga practice. I find Kay to be quite calming and I enjoy the time with her. I wish there were some additional practices with her included in this original package.

I love these videos. I am 69 and have exercised all my life. I've had a longer hiatus than ever before from exercising and am getting back into shape with these videos. The instruction is so clear, her attitude so loving and accepting and her emphasis on blending the breath with the movement is very powerful. I feel a difference in my body immediately. I am doing them daily and I just love them.

I recently received the Gentle Yoga DVD's and I am quite pleased with them. I had practiced yoga when I was younger but was a little concerned about going back to the practice now that I'd retired. I had recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my knees and toes and needed to keep the joints active. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to go back to yoga because I really can't kneel down anymore. I decided to try Gentle Yoga and am very happy I did. The practice is gentle and you have control over how much or how little you can do in the poses. The instructor is very helpful, giving you alternatives for both less strenuous and more intense positions in the poses, and gives you helpful suggestions for props if you need to use them. Her instructions are very clear and I really like that because you don't have to get out of a pose to look at what she is doing. Many yoga videos you really need to watch the whole pose because you aren't able to know what to do next without looking at the instructor. The quality of the video is also excellent and the atmosphere very soothing. I think this DVD will grow with my experience and keep me going for some time - until and if I need more o a challenge.

I absolutely love this series! I practiced yoga many years ago, but had lost the practice...and now at 62, I wanted a program I could move into slowly, and focus on certain areas for days at a time if I wanted to...I've started with the "joint" section and feel it's laying the foundation for a regular practice from here and moving forward! Thank you so much! Your style and encouragement is a very enjoyable part of the tapes! Namaste', Sue

Kat, you've done a fantastic job crebating a yoga video for seniors. The pace suits an older person, the poses are "do-able" and the setting is perfect.... it makes me want to go there! Well done . Thank you.

I am enjoying my Gentle Yoga series everyday. I like the way the instructor eases us into each lesson at our own pace and she doesn't push us. This is great if you are fearful of trying yoga for the first time. I would recommend this yoga series for anyone just starting out because it really is gentle and it is well worth it.
