I'm tired of having to rate products by stars. Then people look at how many stars they have to judge the worth. Better to give comments on suggestions or praise. While I found the exercises helpful, the instructive intros are lengthy and you don't need them after a couple of times so it becomes tedious to fast forward through them at regular intervals. I'm trying to memorize them at this point so I can do them without the Discs. It will be better if there was a separate section on the disc where you could just have a continuous flow of exercises.

The Gentle Yoga Video Series has changed how I feel already, and I've practiced daily for only two weeks! This is an excellent value for the money. Thank you for improving my quality of life. Pain and tightness in my right hip and lower back had kept me from getting much done during most mornings. After practicing the Gentle Yoga Video Series every morning for about 30 minutes, I'm now able to be physically active and productive much earlier in the morning. I attribute these changes to the sections on increasing joint mobility, soothing your lower back, improving spinal health, and practicing and overall flow.

These gentle yoga videos changed my mind about yoga after a lifetime of trying unsuccessful attempts, its now part of my daily life. Cat is a great instructor, that's a very large part of my success. Many thanks!

I look forward to my yoga session each day. The instructor gives directions that are easy to follow and she includes different adjustments for those of us just beginning. She explains the value of each pose for our bodies as well. The DVD is easy to use with the menu that pops up upon starting and will take you to whichever section you desire. The beautiful location that the recording took place adds to the feeling of relaxation that the yoga poses create.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed. I didn't care for the instructor. I understand that yoga does not move quickly, but she just about put me to sleep. Regret my purchase.

I have been doing yoga on and off for many years and have had a whole series of videos and DVD's of lithe young things doing amazing asanas which have sometimes left me feeling less than confident in my abiliites and stamina. The instructor is great - warm, funny, enthusiastic and mindful of varying abilities and experiences and offers a great series of short practices focussing on different areas of the body with variants of the poses to suit those who have had operations on knees and hips. She is very encouraging and does a great job of explaining what we are doing and why. I like the format of the relatively short sessions and I have been doing them daily for the last 3 weeks and feeling better. I often get up at 5 am to do a session before going off to work. I am pleased I got these on promo and all the more so to have the DVD's as I live in a rural area in France and streaming is very poor. Highly recommended.

The videos are great but I find them quite difficult sometimes, 'like breathe into your shoulders'. What exactly does that mean !!. I am a long term sufferer of sciatica and I know that yoga can help but I am worried if these exercises are not performed correctly will it do more harm than good ? Will continue with the series as they excellent videos. Thank you for letting us buy them at such a reduced price.
