“Unfortunately I had quite a poor experience with this shop. After spending months getting myself to a financial position where I could purchase skates, I purchased a $300 pair of Powerslides from this store online. Even though I used the size chart, they were too small for me so I attempted to exchange them. I was told that I could not return the skates because of some superficial scratches, which I assume was a result of the manufacturing process. I only tried the skates on ONCE, so these scratches were certainly not caused by me, they were already there straight from the box. Now I have paid for shipping three times (the original purchase, the exchange, and now to have them sent back to me), and am out of pocket more than $300 for a pair of skates I cannot use. Really disappointing that it was perfectly okay to sell the skates to me in this condition, however they were apparently "too damaged" to be returned. This has been an incredibly disheartening experience because it is not going to be easy to resell them, and I am not going to be able to afford a new pair of skates. Let this be a warning to customers: please photograph your skates as soon as you open the box to document any scratches, even tiny ones.”
