Powerdyne Thrust Roller Skate Plates 5 Reviews

I had bought these to replace one cracked Thrust plate (sides of the pivot cup hole) on my Moxi Lolly & decided may as well change over to version 2 Thrusts while at it. Also as Moxi/Riedell have been sold out of version 1 rubber pivot cups for quite some time & may/may not make them available again for future need when they inevitably break down with wear & tear. I had to enquire first to make sure they were definitely version 2, & if the mounting holes are in the same location as version 1 for the same size. As I didn't want the hassle of remounting different plates. Skate Society contacted their supplier to make sure of those details. Helpful & timely service on that so kudos to Skate Society :) As for the product, it is essentially to be expected. The main plate is exactly the same as version 1. The difference is only in the trucks & pivot cups. Pivot cups are now hard wearing longer lasting delrin (a slippery hard plastic). The trucks now have thicker pivots to go with the delrin cups. One would only need the newer trucks & delrin cups to change their version 1's into version 2's. It's also nice to know that both version trucks are fully compatible with the SureGrip back heel brake attachment too.
