“I had a few sets of plastic dice before I got this. When I got these, I used them exclusively for the next 2 sessions. When I picked up my old sets, I nearly threw them into the ceiling they were so light. Are metal dice a necessity? No. Are they extremely satisfying and beautiful? Yes. If you know you will be into D&D— or any other rpg system— for along time, you really should pick up a metal dice set. Every roll feels more real, more weighty, both literally and metaphorically.
