Wizard's Grimoire Metal Dice Case Reviews

4.8 Rating 12 Reviews
Dice? Check. Miniatures? Check. Pathfinder Equipment cards? Check. Index cards for daily spells? Check. Markers/Coins/Tokens? Check. This holds everything I need for my weekly meetups for my Pathfinder Witch. Love it. Only wish they offered a case with a Ranger or Dwarven theme

Fantastic idea. Nice tin, looks good. Cutouts for decks etc are a great idea. But I don't know if they had a system in mind, but... it's a weird arrangement of dice cutouts for D&D 5e. Not enough six-sided dice; probably more... twelves?... than we need. I mean, if the distribution was going to match "dice I want." It doesn't even match the easy route of "two full sets." And putting some spares in a side slot doesn't work, because... ...It's very thin and light foam. You can't put a lot of dice (especially not metal ones) in a side one or it just bends it right out of shape. Or anything small and heavy. Probably the tradeoff you need to be able to more easily get dice in and out. In the end, the weird distribution of cutouts just made me go back to bags, with minis in a separate little bag. I was trying to fix a problem that wasn't really a problem.

Everything about my transaction was smooth and wonderful. I would definitely order from them again in the future as not only do they have a fantastic product but the customer service experience is top notch!

So let me start off by stating the customer service and presentation is fantastic. Every email, every interaction, was "in-character" and just added to the experience. I received the product very quickly, even faster than the shipping estimate, and it fits my die, spell cards, and mini perfectly! My only comments (not complaints) are that a hinged lid would make this product better, and that the foam could be a little denser for stability. Lastly, if the foam was glued down to the case, it would just be that last little bit of polish to take this case from awesome to phenomenal. Like I said, however, these are not complaints, as they are just suggestions that I might try with my case. If you are on the fence about getting this, as you may already have a die bag, or some other organizational method, go for it! This is the perfect thing for keeping all a single character's acoutrement together. As I stated, I have my wizard's cantrip/spell cards, his mini, his sheet, and a complete set of die just for him all together. As an organizational nerd, this is fantastic. :)
