“This dice is great. Perfect size and weight and nice finish. I am thinking of buying another set. However, Its a little pointy. It has nice chamfered edges but they lead to a pointy corner. It would be nice if the corners would be squared off.”
“I had a set of 7 metal RPG dice but was tired of rolling the D4 six to eight times to get spell results etc. Adding this set of D4s allows me to get damage and other chances, stats etc. in 2-3 rolls. (I'm level 6 going on 7 so damage is increasing, TG).
Of course I could have gone back to my lightweight (literally) polymer dice (and I did occasionally when rolling 8 D4s) but the thunk of plastic dice in my dice tray (for me), was less satisfying. These dice provide that thunk, with my other metal dice. Also, for the record, they are so random I want to cry sometimes but they roll true. All my metal dice have rolled every number, none seem favored at all, unlike my polymers, which have cool colors but showed to be suspect counting #'s out of 20-30 rolls and checking in EXTREMELY salty water. Such tests led me to wonder if I was having a bad night adventuring, or just unbalanced dice.
Lastly, I really enjoyed the Skull Splitter experience. They were engaged with me from the order process thru delivery and threw in a free gift as well. From all they did I would be surprised if they are not gamers, and that means a lot when you're buying from normal people, just like yourself. They appreciate a deal, have a great selection, and care about customer satisfaction. I will buy from them again. (Probably a set of four D6 or D8). Cheers”
