“I had hoped to use this on the bottom of my splitter as it sticks out about 4 inches in front. It turns out that the bottom of the splitter is rough fiberglass and not smooth as in the given how-to videos. I am going to follow the mounting instructions as to cleaning and prep and hope for a favorable outcome. I will try to get some input from the website as to how well this application will adhere.”
