“We have so enjoyed our SlumberPod! Our son is 1 year old, and we have used our SP with fan on two trips thus far. In the past while visiting family, we had to take down our blackout curtains before each trip and then hope that the curtains would fit in whatever room we stayed in. With the SlumberPod, we can room share more easily and don't have to worry about taking down his curtains OR setting them up once we make it to our destination. Or if they curtains will adequately cover the windows in the new space. We just set up the pack n play then set up the SlumberPod over it. It removes the guess work!
A few other things I love about this product:
1. The travel bag - it's slim but leaves room for the SlumberPod to fit in without requiring a particular folding style.
2. The fan does circulate the air adequately - we stayed in a hotel and the room where our son slept didn't get good ventilation (75 degrees at a minimum) and with the fan on in the SlumberPod, it never exceeded 73 degrees.
3. The pocket for the video camera gives a VERY clear picture! It did take me a few tries to get the camera just right, but man, it's exceptional.
4. Set up is simple. I'm not a camper but this was intuitive.

Thank you so much for your feedback on SlumberPod with Fan! While the SlumberPod completely covers the playard, it is never intended to confine. Adult supervision is required and the use of the SlumberPod does not substitute for close supervision and caretaking. The room in which the SlumberPod is set up should be fully baby-proofed and should always have a closed door or gate to prevent your toddler from wandering when they are unsupervised.
