Airing out for a day or two should be all it takes for the smell to dissipate. SlumberPod can also be washed in cold water with very gentle detergent (no fabric softener or bleach), and AIR dried (and the heat from the dryer will damage the monitor pouch).

“We are still sharing a room with our 3 month old. It’s hard to get our room completely dark and also inconvenient that we can’t run in and get things and/or use our bathroom when he’s napping. We originally got this for room sharing during travel but ended up setting it up over his bassinet in our bedroom and it’s been awesome to not be kicked out of our space during naps. I also think it’s helped with less night wakenings since it’s completely dark in there. I’d highly recommend this!”
